Booking Terms & Conditions - Antenatal Refresher Courses

The antenatal refresher course is taught by Lisa Harris, a qualified antenatal teacher. I am only able to give general information and education about pregnancy, labour and birth and postpartum days with a newborn and older child. Medical advice about your own pregnancy and well being is not and cannot be given and instead you should consult a health professional.

I cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attendance on the antenatal refresher course.

Any general information that you have provided as part of your application to attend the antenatal refresher course will be protected, and will not be shared with third parties. Your data is also protected from misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration to the best of its ability.

Once your payment has been received I will send you a confirmation email.

You may cancel your booking at any time by letting Lisa know by email or phone.

If you cancel more than four weeks before the start of the course I will issue you a refund minus a £10 administration fee. If you cancel less than four weeks before the start of the course then no refund will be issued, although I will always assess this on a case by case basis so do not hesitate to contact me to discuss.

​The minimum number to run the course is three couples, and the maximum is eight couples. If for any reason the minimum number is not met then I reserve the right to cancel the course and a full refund will be issued.

I am a doula, and therefore there may be occasion when I need to reschedule a session to attend someone’s birth. In this event you will be given as much notice as possible and I will ensure you can attend the new session date. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.
